Robert M. BustamanteRobert M. Bustamante's practice focuses on construction defect litigation and contract interpretation for contractors and developers. He has also handled numerous personal injury cases arising from automobile accidents, construction injuries and premises liability. Mr. Bustamante has handled over 800 construction cases to completion. He has represented developers and general contractors throughout the Bay Area. He has participated in trials on behalf of developers and subcontractors. He is also very familiar with the Special Master, Arbitration and Mediation Programs in Northern California, having used them to represent principal defendants on several multi-million dollar settlements. Mr. Bustamante is a member of the State Bar of California, Association of Defense Counsel, American Bar Association, and the Santa Clara County Bar Association. He has also been a member of the Judge Pro Tem Program in Santa Clara County for the past fifteen years. He has acted as an arbitrator in binding arbitrations, a mediator and has settled large cases as a judge pro tem. Mr. Bustamante was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Hastings College of Law in 1984. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Bustamante was a partner at Ropers, Majeski, Kohn, Bentley, Wagner & Kane before co-founding Nagle, Bustamante & O'Hara in 1994 which contiunes today as Bustamante & Gagliasso, APC. Education:
